Catalyst Games has announced Shadowrun: Takedown, a new tabletop RPG in the legendary Shadowrun series. The game is now live on Kickstarter and as of this writing has surpassed—by a very wide margin—it’s meager $10,000 goal. The project currently sits at $109,000 backer funding with over 1,000 backers in total. Suffice it to say, there is a huge demand for not only new games in the Shadowrun series, but tabletop games specifically.
Shadowrun: Takedown is the latest in the long-running and, at this point legendary, cyberpunk RPG series. Except this time it’s not a video game. It’s returning to it’s roots as a board game.
