The official Terminator Twitter account just gave us our very first-ever glimpse into the upcoming film which is set to be released in November, 2019. The new Terminator film is going to be directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by James Cameron and David Ellison. The below tweet shows three characters from the film played by Natalia Reyes, Mackenzie Davis, and one Linda Hamilton.
I don’t know who the other two characters are, you don’t know who the other characters are, no one knows who the other characters are but we know three things from this photo: One, there are three badass looking characters here. Two, we don’t know who two of them are. Three, Sarah Connor (played by Linda Hamilton) is one of them and brings the aforementioned badassery up ten notches. Twenty. Twenty notches.
Hamilton stated she agreed to participate in the film because there aren’t a lot of film roles for older women these days. There are especially not a lot of action roles for older women. Linda Hamilton is clearly poised to change this trend in a big way because damn.
We don’t know anything yet about the new Terminator film’s plot but I personally cannot wait to get more info on this. If this first image is any indication, this film is bound to be amazing.
